An Evening with Steve Varro

Having performed in 48 states and 25 countries around the world from Malaysia to Mongolia and Hong Kong to Haiti, Steve now resides near Nashville Tennessee.

In his travels, Steve has performed with magicians Harry Blackstone and David Copperfield, actress Jane Russell, actor Clifton Davis and western TV & movie stars Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Steve has also been honored to present a command performance before the Royal Family of Barbados. Steve is also the Winner of the Magical Arts Guild's Award of Excellence.

Over the years Steve has developed several seminars and authored 8 books on Showmanship, Comedy and Message Magic. These lectures have been presented throughout the World.

Steve is the past president of IBM Ring 254 (the Karroll Fox Ring) and the immediate past President of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians International. He is also a member of KIDabra holding membership # 107. His programs range from family programs to message magic as well as the country comedy of Harvey Barfenfloss, Tennessee’s Most Eligible Bachelor, who overcame virtually insurmountable odds by outdistancing the Las Vegas Comedy Magic Duo of B-Rad and MagicAL to win 2nd place at the Worlds Funniest magicians contest in Las Vegas in 2007.

An Evening with Steve Varro will include the "Best of" the following lectures:

Magic a Tricky Business (Showmanship, presentation and business)

Comedy as No Laughing Matter (What works, What Doesn't and Why)

Message Magic (Gospel, anti-Drug and corporate magic)

Steve is also the owner of Dock Haley Gospel Magic Co. The world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of Gospel Magic and Books.(www.gospelmagic.com) and will have a small sampling of their effects available to purchase at the lecture.

Jam’n & Lunch’n at the Park

Jam’n at the park will meet at one of the local parks; we will have one north side jam and one south side jam a month.

If you do balloons, face paint, juggle, magic, stilts, etc….. Come join in on the fun!

Whats a Jam? Some have been to them; some haven’t had the chance yet! Why practice alone when you can come have some fun with a group of people, meet new friends, share a skill, and learn a skill, network with a gathering of folks that enjoy what you do. All entertainers & family members are welcome to join in on the fun (children must be supervised by you).

How much does this cost? FREE, no charge except gas & time….

What will I need to bring? Chair to sit on, lunch & beverages to drink and whatever you would like to practice…… Please bring your own jamming materials (balloons, paints, etc.)

We will change to the indoors for the hot months, more details later.

Pack up a lunch, dust off your old/new stuff in the closet, bring it to the jam....
You never know there might be someone there that can show you how it works, again......
Or bring a new idea to the jam, whatever you would like to share....
But practicing and jamming with others is definetly more fun than doing it alone.....
